Liberty 2026
Another fantastic weekend. Great music, super atmosphere, everyone there to enjoy the music and have fun. I have attended over last 5 years and love it.
Amenities were brilliant as always and in fairness while it was super busy I never had to queue for long for food, drink etc.
A few bits that annoyed me this year was the small lady in security who was very rude and spoke like she didn’t want to there, so abrupt, every time.. she put her hand into my handbag and my sisters, what she was searching for I don’t know cos nothing fits in it only my phone, glasses, wallet and sun spray. She literally pulled everything out in her hand. Glasses cost me over €400. Every other security person were super nice.
I think going forward no hands to be out into someone’s bag.
Large group near me with table in middle of loads chairs.
Walkways on the first day from dance floor were not there. They were there on 2nd day.
With that, I’d like to send a huge thank you to Jim and all the people who helped keep the festival up and running this year. Congratulations to you all.
Great music, great time
Considering the headaches the organisers had only weeks before the event, they all did an amazing job. It might be worthwhile have 2 enterances next year, to ease the lines, but well done to all involved
Security at Entrance Very Rude and Abrupt
We had a great, fun-packed weekend at Liberty Music Festival. Thurles gave everyone such a warm welcome – the locals were incredibly friendly and it really added to the atmosphere.
There were, however, a few issues that I think need attention. Unfortunately, one of the security staff at the entrance was our first point of contact on arrival, and she came across as extremely abrupt and quite rude. First impressions matter, so hopefully this can be addressed.
Another issue was the way some attendees set up their seating. Large groups formed circles with their chairs, leaving a huge empty space in the middle that nobody else could use. It felt unfair, especially when the festival was busy, and I think this is something that should be monitored by stewards to ensure everyone has a fair chance of finding a spot.
Finally, the walkways need better organisation. This was an issue on the first day last year as well. I can’t understand why there aren’t clearly defined pathways using rope or barriers so people know where they can and can’t set up. It seems like something that could easily be put in place during the site preparation and then monitored throughout the weekend.
Despite these points, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. These are constructive suggestions that I think would make an already great festival even better.
Amazing weekend
After getting off to a bad start with the rudeness and so unhelpful English lady working on the Rugby club gates it turned out to be an amazing weekend. So professionally organised with great music. Well done!
It was excellent but..
It was so good. And really well organised. Had a great time. The chair areas just needs a bit if review. The poor security personnel were abused quite a bit by rude people. Needs to be clearly marked and contained more clearly. The toilets were run like a military operation, incredibly well run.
What did you think of our festival?
